Samsung SGH-S8300 Ultra Touch also known as Samsung GT-S8300 Tocco Ultra Edition is the latest mobile phone, which is available for online purchasing. When i get a phone call, it comes up with Unknown, even though caller information is set to “show” and the contacts calling are in my phonebook. How do i fix this?
Hi dear i have also the S8300 mobile.. you can dowoload the S8300 user manual from net.but when use the mobile you can take batter now that how you use it. forexampla. when read the sms you will find the small word but when press the side lift side +,- buttan you will see that hte sms word can make beg and samll.
so enjoy this mobile ,becaus you can record the Fm music when your Favorite song is onlin and you want to go the washroom so that time you can record your song..ha ha fani.enjoy

Can anyone tell me how to remove the keypad tone? If I go through the settings menu I can only change the profile to silent which then makes the phone ring silent also.
Hey Nicole, you have silver double button on the left side of the phone. Press it down to 0 and your keypad becomes silent.
I’m the same as Nicole… I have not been able to remove the keypad tone and would really like to!! Can anyone tell us how to do this without setting the whole profile to silent?
OK girls, it’s very simple. There is big silver button on the left side of your phone (double button: up and down). Press it down to 0 and your keypad tone will go silent

Any ideas about the message ‘no event’ which has been showing up on my OH’s screen for the past 24 hours? Can’t find any reference to it anywhere.

Hi there how can I use the front camera of S8300?
In the main menu, you will find the Keypad icon on your left down corner. Click that and bring down the volume to 0 using the big silver button on your left. This is as good as turningoff the keypad tome. It is junk way but the only one i found out.

The button on right side next to lock button is used to take a photo right? When i push it it makes the shutter sound but doesn’t take a photo anyone know what could be wrong?
here is a couple of answers 4 u guys yes it does have wifi,
try pushing the photo takeing button a bit harder,loud speaker can be use slided open or shut, to turn off the message tone completely by goin to menu, settings, phone profiles, the >> next to normal, the drop down arrow in the top right hand corner, phone sounds and draging the phone sound volume down to 0 but that’s the hard way easy way is to press the silver button on the left hand side down till u get to 0
hey guys I recently got the Samsung s8300 as well, and so far I’m not very happy with it. It keeps turning itself off, sometimes when I press the battery cover, and other times for no apparent reason at all. Also, could someone please tell me how to use the secondary camera on the front ? I’d really like to take photos with that instead . thanks ! oh and btw guys, you can also go to your ‘normal’ profile settings, and in the top right corner there’s a drop-down menu which you can use to change the keypad tones . you can’t turn it off, but you can turn it down to off
