Nokia N97 – Expensive Phone Review

The Nokia N97 is an expensive candy bar slider form factor mobile phone, which supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 on 2G network and HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 on 3G network. The new Nokia N97 runs on Symbian OS v9.4, Series 60 rel. 5. The device combines a large 3.5in touch-screen, with a slide-out Full QWERTY keyboard. There is a huge on-board 32 GB of memory, capable of storing thousands more songs than the Apple iPhone and many other leading devices. Nokia N97 has a high-speed web access, along with one-button, always-on access to social-networking sites such as Facebook. The N97 also introduces something Nokia calls “social location,” which uses the capabilities of the built-in A-GPS sensors and electronic compass to automatically update users’ social networks, or let them share their location via photos or videos with friends. There is also a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus and flash. This cell phone comes with additional features like FM radio with RDS, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF viewer), flash lite 3.0, tri-band HSDPA 3G and WiFi support.

The Nokia N97 is candy bar slider form factor mobile phone, which is available in White and Brown skin colors. The sliding mechanism feels solid. On the front of Nokia N97 is a wide 3.5 inches TFT resistive touch screen, 16M colors screen for viewing. On the top front there is an ear piece, a secondary video call camera and a light sensor. On the down low side of the device there is a multimedia lunch key and touches sensitive buttons for menu, connect and disconnect. On the left side of the phone there is a microUSB port and sliding switch button. On the rights side of this cell phone there is a dedicated camera key and volume toggle keys.
