HTC Snap Smartphone Review
The HTC Snap also known as HTC 522 & HTC Maple is the new mobile phone from HTC, which supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 on 2G network and UMTS 900 / 2100 – for Europe and Asia and UMTS 850 / 1900 – for North America on 3G network. The HTC Snap runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard and is powered by 528 MHz processor. The HTC Snap has a new Email management feature called “Inner Circle” by which one can bring Email from a preselected group to the top of their inbox by pressing simply a dedicated key on the HTC Snap. The HTC Snap is equipped with a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 TFT, 65K colors display and trackball for navigation. Also this handset is packed with a 2 mega pixel camera but unfortunately there is no LED flash. This device as a plus point has a full QWERTY keyboard which is ergonomically designed with extra large vaulted keys and responsive tactile feedback to make typing emails and text messages quick, precise and easy. It also has assisted GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, EDGE, USB 2.0, and microSD expansion up to 16 GB. An unlocked HSDPA version under the name HTC S522 will be available in the U.S.

HTC Snap is a new slab form factor mobile phone, which is available in only black skin color. On the front of this cell phone there is a large 2.4 inches TFT, 65K colors display. Under the screen of HTC Snap there is Trackball navigation and various option keys and below that comes a full QWERTY keyboard. On the back of this device there is a 2 mega pixel camera. On the left side of the handset you’ll find the volume rocker. On the right side of this device under a rubber flap, is the USB port used for charging, syncing, and audio. The dimensions of HTC Snap are 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm and weights around 120 g.
