   All drivers, including audio driver, work perfectly, only if you have WinXP Service Pack 3…

   use the service pack 3, for windows xp,
   with sp2 doesn’t work some drivers, for example, the audio driver.

    Latest service packs make mess with Realtek audio drivers on WinXP. Don’t install audio drivers if there is no need.

    although beware there is a minor mistype on audio driver
    audio driver for vista in description for both, but in the title says one for vista and one for xp, nothing serious but still need a fix

    tienes que cambiar en la bios en donde diga SATA (que esta por defecto con la opcion AHCI) a la opción IDE. A mi me funcionó así…

    I have a problem with camera drivers,when I install Bison\Chisony drivers in both cases,system crashes when I try to activate the camera (blue screen).However,sometimes when it doesn’t crash,there is black/grey screen (no picture),therefore web camera is not working for sure.Anyone have this problem?

    Hi is anyone having problem installing win XP? I always got blue screen when installing win XP. Thats why i’m using now the supplied win XP OEM but the problem with that if you want to reinstall win XP it’s going to reformat the whole hard drive even you have made a partition it’s going to delete it. And does anyone have a torrent of the drivers, because my ISP is slow I can not download the larger files sometimes it stops and I need to start again. Thank you…

    The only problem I encountered with this is when the hard drive gets too hot it wont shutdown, or maybe because of the service pack3? I reformat it and I don’t install the service pack3,now I don’t have any problem with it.

    @Joel,
    If you want to install windows XP , u’ll have first to disable SATA in BIOS and use IDE, then u’ll be able to install it without the blue screen

    Hi, installation of MS XP Professional on a Lenovo N500 shipped w/o operating system failed. I always get an blue screen with a stop error 0×0000007E and pci.sys – Address F78400BF base at F7839000.
    SATA already set to IDE. Does disabling of the shadowing help and how to disable?

    Hi just got a Lenovo N500. Model is 4233-32G. On vista business (as supplied) a whole bunch of system drivers were missing. And so I installed Windows 7 Ultimate beta (vista Ultimate build-on) and the number of drivers needed was reduced to 3. That is base base system devices(2) and chipset(i think). Anywere if anyone gets the base drivers for Vista ultimate post at “bennmakungo@gmail.com”.

    I have lenova N500 Model laptop,it is uploaded with Vista Home and OS and other software is preloaded in my hard disk, i am planning to format my Harddisk with Xp, Is that preloaded software will be remaining in harddisk after loading with Xp?

    hey, i got a problem when i installed xp with the video settings. When im about to connect the laptop to the TV with a HDMI connencton it simply says “no connection” on the TV. I downloaded the graphic drivers from here and i know that usually can this problem be solved by just go into the video settings and choose like “Clone screen” or something like that but in my choosinglist i only got “Single screen” and it doesnt adds anything when i connect the HDMI cable.
    Anyone got a clue what the problem can be ?
    (I also tested the HDMI cable with another PC and it worked fine so no problem with the cable)

    perhaps you could help me. I upgraded to windows 7; however, in the process I lost couple of drivers and applications. Ex. I cannot seem to find the camera and the charge meter application originally with the laptop. I have tried several application for the camera and none seems to work. I am talking about to take pictures. I have skype and it works find. About the meter I am using the one from microsoft but it doesn’t provide you with a warning signal when the battery is about to die.
    If you have a solution I’ll greatly appreciate it.
