   I bought my dell 1440 w/o os, when i tried to install win xp service pack II, there’s an error w/ blue screen when starting to setup, i changed my driver to xp service pack 3, the error still remains, I dont want vista w/ my laptop, xp if possible, pls help.

   I bought a new inspiron 1440 with win 7, needed to install win xp, which caused some in-compatibility of drivers, downloaded audio, lan, ethernet drivers from this site but could not download the WLAN driver.

   PLZ HELP.

   i bought my dell 1440. when i tried install windows xp service pack2. after installation windows xp audio driver is not working.and audio driver is not availaible in the dell website….so i want to requested you plz send the site of drivers in e-mail id…. my e-mail id is shivesh_ranjan8@yahoo.com

    Hey guys thank you very much for your support I got wire less card driver for my inspiron 1440 laptop only one thing is left SM bus controller. What is this and how to install it.
    One more thing I ggot it from megaupload, rapidshare file has been removed please reupload.

    the above mentioned drivers all compatible for my lap except bluetooth.there i dont know how to configure bluetooth on this model ,when the istllation strated there got a message for activate bluetooth ,that indicates Fn+f2,but that i will try but i cannot continue to the istallation ,pls anyone give a solution for this issue,

    hi, i need help. b4 i used win xp n my laptop did support blutooth. then i reformat it n i found out dat my laptop cant detect blutooh. i searched 4 it in cntrol panel but i dont see any ‘bluetooth’ word in it. what should i do? tq
