   Hi,

   I’m planning to buy an ASUS X59SR-AP038 (Pentium Dual-Core T3200 2GHz, 2GB DDR2, 320 GB HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 512 MB).

   I am interested in using Windows XP Pro SP2 rather than Vista.

   Do these XP drivers work for any ASUS X59SR, and implicitly will it work for my future notebook as well?

   Had someone tried these XP drives to make sure that they work on an ASUS X59SR?

   Ofcourse these drivers work with Windows XP for Asus X59SR, they are tested before posted on the website.

   when i instaling VGA driver for XP they ask me for cd2!!
   what is problem?

   Alex, i had no such problem installing the vga driver.
   try downloading it again and install the driver from device manager.dont run the setup.exe

   I’m thinking of buying the Asus X59SR-AP065CS notebook.
   But I dont want Vista. Will the drivers listed above work on the X59SR-AP065CS notebook????

    there is such a hustle with 64 bit drivers on this laptop. have it but dont recommend. also ctrl key at the wrong place. sucks.

    Do the current Vista drivers work with Windows 7 also or will Asus release separate Windows 7 drivers in the near future, for this notebook model?

    (I have a hunch that Vista drivers should work with Windows 7 also, but I am wondering if anyone tested it on this notebook model!)
