   Holly jesus man, u did an excelent job, those bastards from acer said that there are compatibilites issues with XP on this tipe of notebook, i was very disapointed cause this notebook it’s not cheap .. Thx a lot man, u made me very happy , i’ll dnld them later after i save something from the pc and reinstall xp, THX a lot again

    I downloaded the driver chipset but I cant seem to install it. It stops half way . USB doesn’t work either. Can you help?

    Ok good post mate, but installing xp on acer 6920 g is one thing, but there is still loads of problems with getting the right drivers ie tuba, media console, hd display, among many other things, so yes xp can be installed on this laptop but the guys at acer are right in saying there is compatibilites issues with XP on this laptop, tbh i hate vista, but for this laptop its the only os that will work flawlessly.

    aye, xp is alot better for this laptop when i had vista had to reinstall 4 time because the os kept fuckin up i’m currently duel booting xp 64 and win7 32 bit and the only problem i have so far is sound is not as good as in vista

    one question: ive installed a new hard disk in my acer but i cannot proceed and install windows on it..someone told me that i need to pre-install a hard disk driver or something…any ideas or where to find it?

    why intel driver?
    this is a AMD board after all, isn’t it?

    i have xp 64 bit installed, still need somer drivers like
    “audio device on high definition audiobus”
    any suggestions?
